Volt Workforce Solutions has an open temporary position available in Redmond, WA for an Xbox 360 Targeted Sr. Test Lead, who is responsible for coordinating daily operations of XBOX 360 Targeted Testing Group.
Position Description:
The Xbox 360 Targeted Sr. Test Lead will be responsible for directing and supporting XBOX 360 Targeted Test Leads and their test teams.
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Plan, direct, and interact with Our Client technically, as well as on project operations for the XBOX 360 Targeted Testing Group, within well-defined process and metrics.
  • Coordinate and track test resource allocation, acquisition and release with Facilities, IT Support, Lab Technicians and Staffing Services.
  • Practice continuous improvement of process, performance and operations.
  • Supervise large numbers of personnel, as well as coordinate, collate and publish aggregated tester evaluations.
  • Triage bugs and report to Our Client via document processes.
  • Practice continuous improvement of test policies and procedures, as well as continuous improvement of process, performance and operations.
  • Act as a back-up for Media receiving, storing and distribution.
  • Monitor and coordinate facilities, security and safety when no Managers are on-site.


This is a contingent / temporary position in Redmond, WA, through Volt Workforce Solutions, based in Raleigh, NC.   • 2+ years of Software Testing experience, with a full-scale Software Life Cycle model
  • 1+ years of Personnel Management experience
  • 4+ years of Console Game Testing and/or equivalent work experience
  • BA Degree in a relevant discipline and/or equivalent work experience
  • Very strong knowledge of the operation of the XBOX hardware, accessories, and dashboard
  • Strong knowledge of XBOX360 Live operation, as well as XBOX games and applications
  • Strong knowledge of Software Testing disciplines, as well as Defect Triaging and Writing
  • Good understanding of computer components, video standards and audio standards encoders and containers
  • Good understanding of Microsoft Windows Operating System
  • Networking/Wireless Networking understanding
  • Emergency Safety certification a plus
  • Exceptional organization skills and strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to understand the applicable technologies
  • Demonstrated time management and organizational skills
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
