SDET Lead

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Others may be assigned.
* Manage, lead and train others on the test team
* Architect the automation framework* Develop Test Plans, Cases and executing on those
* Influencing and guiding other team members to increase the quality of their automation
* Develop and tune QTP script (VB Scripting)
* Maintain existing QTP scripts on a daily basis
* Lead the automation testing of key enterprise software systems
* Assist with Quality Center administration
* Conduct 1-on-1 training of QTP
* Work with global development teams (Seattle and Ireland)

TECHNICIAL EXPERIENCE
* Strong Test/QA leadership skills/experience* 3+ years OOP (C# or Java)* Prior SDET Lead
* Experience with automated testing tools such as QTP
* Display strong understanding of industry recognized QA standards and methodologies
* Web application testing experience
* Expertise in QA life cycle process and Test Strategy, Test Planning and Execution
* Ability to develop test cases and test plans
* Display solid understanding of the Software Development Cycle
* MINIMUM 3 years of hands on experience in Quality Center and Quick Test Professional
* Working knowledge of bug tracking systems and processes (using Quality Center)
* Ability to develop and tune QTP scripts

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
* Bachelor*s degree from a four year college or university; or one to three years related testing experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience* Commitment to ongoing personal study and enrichment

* Must display time management and organizational skills
* Strong attention to detail and the ability to remain focused on a project
* Actively demonstrates initiative and follow through on projects and development of skills
* Actively demonstrates good judgment and maintains high professional standards
