Currently we are looking for a motivated mid-level Engineer with hands-on experience in all aspects of manufacturing, assembly, and testing of electronic instrumentation. This position requires a flexible, energetic, and well organized individual who will play a leadership role in the production of instrumentation used in our laser-based measurement and inspection systems. The position is expected to include:
- Planning and directing technician work tasks
- Maintaining and updating electrical schematics for cables and instrumentation
- Developing documentation and manufacturing procedures
- Test and debugging of instrumentation, circuit boards, and cabling
- System integration of electronic and electro-mechanical components
- Minimum 5 years experience in electronic instrument production
- Must have excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Must have demonstrated hands-on system-level assembly and debugging skills
- Must have good written and verbal communication skills
- Hands-on experience in test and assembly processes
- Must be familiar with the design of low-noise analog circuits, instruments, and cables at frequencies from DC to 10 MHz
- Must be proficient with MS Word, Excel and OrCAD. Software programming skills desirable
