Senior Process Engineer

The Senior Process Engineer will work to support multiple projects requiring expertise in process development and execution on a variety of equipment in a semiconductor/display fab. The individual will work as a key member of a team developing and executing on new business opportunities utilizing a development fab facility. The work will be primarily on non-silicon substrates; particularly glass and plastic.
S/He will be expected to have a strong hands-on approach in the laboratory and good understanding of the capabilities of various pieces of deposition, etching, thermal treatment and other related equipment. The employee will be responsible to both develop new process technology as well as process wafers in a small volume production environment. Must be able to work extended hours. Must be able to stay/stand in a clean room environment for extended periods of time. Must have command of English language adequate to communicate technical information and write technical reports.

 Requirements1. BS degree in engineering (or related discipline) is required
2. Experience with thin film processing methods, including CVD, PVD, dry-etch, thermal processing, photolithography and wet-chemical processing.
3. Knowledge of Design-of-Experiments techniques and statistical analysis methods.
4. Basic understanding of semiconductor process integration issues and tradeoffs.
5. Excellent problem solving skills.
6. Clean room experience.
7. Experience with thin film analysis & characterization, including spectroscopic ellipsometry, AFM, SEM, SIMS, etc.
8. Repair and maintenance experience.
9. Experience working on glass and plastic substrates.
10. TFT device knowledge.
11. Circuit design and/or layout experience.
