Sr Financial Analyst - Redmond

Description

Analyst to support Rents for the West Region & RAN on a National level. Responsibilities include:
* A complete audit of all the cell sites in the West Region for rent & utility expense. Create a database or spreadsheet of important information regarding each site & corresponding lease. Follow up on any items found during the audit to insure accurate reporting and accounting of all rents.
* Drive the preparation and quality of rent budgets, forecasts and 3 year plans for the West region. Ensure models are built using key drivers and rate/volume metrics where applicable.
* Consolidate COW, RF Planning & other RAN analysis for all regions. Verify templates are accurately populated. Work with Regional leads if necessary to get templates corrected.
* Prepare monthly reporting and variance analysis as required by Network Finance, Mobility Network Operations, other Mobility segment partners and BOD organizations. Identify risks and opportunities to ensure achievement of financial targets.
* Complete ad-hoc analyses for the regional & national network teams as needed.
* Ensure sound internal controls are followed, including Sarbanes Oxley compliance.

Required Degrees/Majors/Accreditations/Skills: BA in Finance or Accounting. 3-5 years experience (wireless preferred). Proven ability to work in fast paced environment, produce high quality deliverables on time and develop effective client relationships. Proven ability to work independently and to interface with all levels of management. Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written). Strong analytical, problem solving and time management skills. Advanced knowledge of Excel and proficiency in PowerPoint and Word. Knowledge of MS Access would be a plus.

Desired Degrees/Majors/Accreditations/Skills: Knowledge of Oracle financial systems preferred. Graduate level degree with a focus on finance or accounting desired. CPA, CFA, MBA are a plus.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

3-5 years experience in accounting, financial analysis, or financial reporting

Good communication skills.

Excellent interpersonal communications and project management/leadership skills

Excellent desktop skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, MS Access)
Desired Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Finance or related field

Five or more years experience in Financial Analysis, modeling and forecasting

MBA in Finance
