Time-in-grade: Applicants who are current Federal employees and have held a GS grade any time in the past 52 weeks must also meet time-in-grade requirements. If you have not held a GS grade at any time in the past 52 weeks this restriction does not apply to you. To qualify at the GS-6 level applicants must have held grade GS-5 or higher for at least one year.
To qualify at the GS-6 level, applicants must have one year of Specialized Experience that is equivalent to at least a GS-5 grade level equipped with particular knowledge, skills, and abilities of the duties typically in or related to the position to include but not limited to: Administrative support to administrative and clinical staff members; Acquisition and/or development of program information and resource materials; Have the capacity to resolve problems and make determinations about priorities in workload and requirements; Knowlegde in various rules and regulations related to timekeeping; Prepare various correspondence, meeting agendas, and meeting minutes.You will be rated on the following Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Other characteristics (KSAOs) as part of the assessment questionnaire for this position: - Ability to provide a wide range of administrative support for clinical and administrative staff.- Ability to process, manage, and track monthly expeditures.- Skill in interpersonal effectiveness.- Knowledge of timekeeping practices.
