As a Lead System Analyst, for the IT Supply Chain and Operations team, you will have an opportunity to be part of a high growth division within the Starbucks business. You will use your functional IT experience to work on new and sustainment initiatives. You will be responsible for designing and implementing best in the class planning processes using Oracle Value Chain Planning modules (ASCP, DRP, GOP etc.,) across the Starbucks supply chain network, while having the opportunity to learn the CPG/Retail/Distribution/Manufacturing space as we continue to grow and build out our organization. You will be working across the other teams in providing end to end supply chain solutions for new product launch, or for opening new distribution centers and/or manufacturing facilities globally. You will get an opportunity to work on both distribution planning and Manufacturing requirement planning in a semi-constrained planning environment.
This job contributes to Starbucks success by directing the planning and coordination of enterprise wide systems in functional areas. Participates in strategy and roadmapping for new applications or revisions to existing systems for specific business units or departments. For a functional or central business area, manages user support and troubleshooting, input on business requirements, system and process enhancement support and documentation, system maintenance, and partner training.

Solution Delivery
- Manages the design, implementation, and integration of systems and processes for specific business areas or departments. Ensures alignment with company business and technology goals and strategic roadmaps.
- Collaborates with business and IT partners to plan, prioritize and resource initiatives.
- Builds partnerships across all organization levels within Information Technology, internal business customers, technical support resources, and external business partners.
- Provides leadership on project teams as appropriate to ensure successful completion on time, within budget.
- Identifies trends and gaps with existing systems and processes. Identifies opportunities and proposes projects to improve systems, processes and infrastructure.
Production Support
- Manages ongoing operation of systems and processes for specific business areas or departments. Oversees resolution of day-to-day operations issues to ensure user, business and production requirements are met. Ensures communications and documentation of status, root cause and resolutions are provided.
- Oversees testing of new system functionality and quality assurance for all systems fixes, enhancements, changes and implementations.
- Ensures support documentation is created, updated and used as intended to assist with production trouble-shooting and resolution.
- Prepares, communicates and educates client groups and team on changes in policies and practices within the organization.
- Extends technology support internationally to support global business operations.
- Diverse business experience - 12 years
- Oracle Advanced Supply Chain Planning (ASCP)- implementation, configuration, customization, production support- 8 Years
- Planning and executing systems, preferably in a complex and diverse systems environment - 8 years
- Progressive experience in systems design, testing and implementation within a large, global organization - 8 years
- Working in functional business area - 8 years
- Analytical and problem-solving in a fast-paced environment - 6 years
- Team and project management experience, including the ability to build and lead cross-functional teams - 2 years
- Oracle Advanced Supply Chain Planning - implementation, configuration, customization, production support- 8 years
- Oracle EBS experience preferred: Purchasing, Inventory, Order Management, Material Requirements Planning, Warehouse management - 4 years
- Additional supply chain planning applications could include: Logility, Demantra, i2, Manugistics, SAP APO
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Strong experience in supporting supply chain operations including supply and demand planning, manufacturing scheduling, inventory movements, distribution networks
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and changing environment
- Negotiation and conflict management skills
- Working knowledge of all facets of systems development and operations
- Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills, including the ability to interact with senior leadership and provide input to the decision-making process
- Management and supervisory skills, including planning, organizing and coaching of teams
- Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office Applications such as Word, Excel, Visio, Project
- Ability to understand, analyze and develop operational processes and procedures
- Advanced knowledge of system tools and features
- Ability to use business knowledge, sound judgment, and resourcefulness to identify and select among varied courses of action
