Information Architect Job

Yoh has a contract opportunity for an Information Architect to join our client in Redmond, WA.

Job Responsibilities:

- Contribute to content assessment of website by organizing information, evaluating architectures and labeling/search systems
- Observe user research and translating user research into design decisions
- Work with a content management system
- Work with page layout tools, typically Visio
- Site re-design

Job Qualifications:

- BA/BS degree
- Minimum of three (3) years experience in information architecture/usability , or equivalent
- Ability to work with internal clients and users to understand their goals
- Solid knowledge of the principles of information architecture, usability, and web-based user experience design
- Familiarity with best practices on the Web
- Ability to translate usability test data into design strategy
- Ability to communicate with partners in the organization, and manage expectations
- Strong time management, communication (verbal and written) skills, and interpersonal skills
- Strong research, analytical, and synthesis skills
- Familiarity with Web site tracking and other analytics tools
