Global Yodel is seeking a digital marketer to sell custom content advertising campaigns.

Location:Open to candidates residing in any city. No relocation needed

Position:freelance/contract - flexible hours - Seattle or remote

Global Yodel is an emerging travel, art and culture digital publication with a growing community, engaged worldwide audience, and large growth potential.

The travel industry often uses the perspective of an outsider looking at a place. A writer reports on a foreign city and culture. We flipped this around because its an old fashioned way of looking at the world. We want to hear about cultures and places around the world from people who call it home. Locals know the authentic information that travelers crave. Global Yodel is a platform and pathway for people to connect with one another and share travel inspiration/place information.

As our community grows, the media and press have expressed interest in what we do. We have also built a pathway for brands to connect to our growing community.

Position Responsibilities

• Sell display, social media, custom content campaigns to meet sales targets
• Identify, attract, develop and maintain brand/partner relationships
• Collaborate with editorial/marketing team to conceive campaigns for clients
• Create project summary/contract for campaigns, report back for approval, and close
• Post campaign analytic reporting to ensure client satisfaction/ROI

Requirements

• Thorough understanding of social web & digital content marketing/advertising
• Digital media marketing, advertising and sales experience
• Knowledge/interest & connections in travel space, with D.M.O. relationships (preferred)
• Knowledge/interest & connections in tech/creative/lifestyle space (preferred)
• Established agency and brand relationships (preferred)
• Excellentorganizational, communication and negotiation sills
