Our client is seeking a Software Development Engineer in Test to architect, design, and implement highly-efficient automated tests. The team utilizes a highly collaborative sprint development model that requires deep SDET involvement on all engineering projects from start to finish. The solution being delivered is a combination of software and hardware (servers, network & storage), so a strong hardware background is a plus. Candidate must be passionate about efficiently delivering high quality enterprise class solutions to the market.
Responsibilities:
Work in a fast-paced, collaborative development environment designing, coding and testing a leading-edge cloud computing solution
Contribute to the efficient resolution of software defects
Engage with Architecture, Development and QA team members on cross-functional activities
Design and develop software components that assist in qualifying a private cloud computing solution
Qualifications:
A genuine passion for engineering high-quality solutions
Advanced problem solving skills
Demonstrated software engineering expertise in one or more programming languages
Interest in developing software solutions that automate manual tasks
Technology savvy, detail oriented, and highly driven
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Relevant formal education, including BSCS or MSCS
