Transportation Program Manager at Seattle

A Kforce client is seeking a Transportation Analyst in Seattle, Washington (WA) to join a team that identifies, creates, develops and integrates innovative solutions that lead to improvements in their North American transportation network. Our clients transportation encompasses all of the operations that deliver worldwide shipments to and from their fulfillment centers and third party locations.

As a Transportation Analyst you will:

• Configure the inputs driving shipping decisions for packages in the North American transportation network


• Drive continuous improvement by identifying ways to streamline processes and reduce waste


• Problem solve and design solutions for transportation network


• Maintain/update internal documentation for internal training and reference


• Support large scale transportation programs

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Engineering or Transportation/Supply Chain/Operations discipline


• Strong math, logical, problem solving skills


• Strong analytical abilities


• High proficiency creating and managing advanced models using SQL and Microsoft Excel Analyst work background, or focus in higher education Conceptual understanding of systems, and configuration management

Preferred Qualifications:

• Advanced degree, technical or business


• Manufacturing/Supply Chain/Transportation background


• Experience working with IT professionals and process improvement techniques such as Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma


• Possess good business judgment, strong written and oral communication skills, and a practical, common sense approach to getting things done
