Job Description

Desired Skills and Experience
Our Enterprise customer who is a High end Retail giant is in the midst of transforming to a Services-Oriented company powered by our Technology Team of the Future initiative. We are scaling up our BIZDEVOPS teams to build an Enterprise-scale, Retail Services Platform and a set of Services following an Agile and Continuous Delivery methodology to enhance our customer shopping experience, improve our speed to market, and deliver differentiated, scalable and flexible Services to drive our Omni-Channel retail growth strategy.
Expectations Include:

• You are able to engineer and deploy services-oriented software solution components (cloud-based and/or on-premise) according to the defined customer journey map tied to a business capability, task and information models.
• You take complete ownership of your deliverables.
• You are well-versed in SOA design patterns and familiar with existing SOA development platforms.
• You are an expert in multiple programming (i.e., .Net, Java) and scripting languages.
• You design for optimal performance, security and all ilities.
• You are comfortable with writing tests (e.g., unit, component, performance) and verifying all ilities for the code you create.
• You exhibit a strong desire to learn new tools, technologies, and processes and drive acceptance and adoption amongst your peers by doing.
• You have an understanding of the core ideals embodied in Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD), including everything under source control", "automate everything", and quality is everyones job.
• You have an understanding of the craftsmanship required to create software based solutions and you take pride in your work.
• You believe in the ideas behind emergent design or just enough architecture, just enough design, continuous refactoring, and Test-Driven Development (TDD).
• You have an understanding of Agile principles and Scrum practices.
