Regional Account Manager: Seattle, WA at Kirkland

Pine is seeking a full time Regional Account Manager to join the sales team. The Regional Account Manageris responsible for leading the branch sales and marketing efforts, including recommending sales and marketing strategies that will improve the regions competitive position, revenue growth and profitability. The Regional Account Manager is the direct interface between Pine and its target customers lead decision makers.

Position Qualifications
  • Bachelors Degree (preferred)
  • 5 years sales experience
  • Knowledge and experience in equipment/instrumentation or safety rental industry (a plus)
  • Knowledge and experience with Environmental and/or NDT/RVI products, markets and customers
  • Outside sales experience managing a multi-state territory
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills written, verbal, relaying information
  • Strong interpersonal and networking skills
  • Computer skills (Outlook, MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, CRM)
  • Effective leadership/motivation, organization skills
  • Effective expense management skills
  • High level of honesty and integrity
  • Ability to multi-task, plan and organize time
  • Ability to set and achieve sales goals


Duties

  • Day to day planning, forecasting, selling and rental of all Pine Environmentalproducts and services to foster revenue generation growth to exceed assigned regional financial targets
  • Day to day strategic business development activities focused on growing revenue through defined National Target Accounts and Regional Target Accounts
  • Work with VP sales and RGM on the development and maintenance of a regional sales plan that meets and exceeds regional and corporate revenue and customer relationship objectives
  • Work with the RGM, National Account Managers and marketing department in developing and implementing regional sales plan initiatives, marketing plans, and networking activities to drive regional demand for Pine Environmentalproducts and services.
  • Maintenance and growth of equipment rental, sales and repair revenue
  • Prospecting, closing and developing new strategic accounts
  • Networking within industry associations and strategic accounts to build a robust network of Pine champions
  • Respond to customer inquiries-quotations, orders, service request, etc.
  • Confirm orders- equipment, quantities, price, and any special instructions are correct/communicated
  • Generate new sales opportunities and customer list and maintain inPine EnvironmentalCRM system
  • Increase asset utilization
  • Record and investigate/resolve customer complaints
  • Work with the National Sales Managers to develop key and target national account customers
  • Present/Conduct informational company/product presentations
  • Foster favorable positions with suppliers and schedule and make joint calls as required
  • Actively participate in regional and national sales and operational meetings
  • Develop membership and relationships with local and regional /industry associations
  • Ensure compliance with corporate HSE&Q policies
  • Daily maintenance of Customer Resource Management (CRM) database
  • Provide weekly Flash Reports and monthly sales reports as required
  • Actively participate in monthly sales team conference calls
  • Coordinate and participate in regional industry trade shows, fairs and promotional events
  • Manage regional sales budget effectively and efficiently
  • 60-70% field travel typically within geographic region.
