Programmer / Analyst - SQL / Perl / Unix / Linux at Seattle

A Kforce client is looking for talented and enthusiastic Programmer Analysts in Seattle, Washington (WA) to join their team.

Responsibilities:
Create and maintain web content within Adobe CQ Create and maintain HTML e-mail templates for maximum compatibility Own highly visible web projects from beginning to end, from gathering of requirements, design and development, to testing, launch, and support.
Ability to create clean, maintainable code using HTML, CSS and JavaScript that works perfectly in all major web browsers.
Rapidly debug any browser rendering issues related to html/css/javascript.
Develop code using both internal and 3rd party front-end frameworks and libraries.
Work towards team goals, using web development engineering best practices.
Proactively and continually improve your knowledge about the web development teams mission.
Communicate professionally with their team and other teams, knowing when to contribute and when to listen.
Produce work that is accurate and thorough and strive towards excellence.
Recognize and adopt best practices in web development engineering: design, testing, version control, documentation, build, deployment, and operations.
Understand the tradeoffs between usability, performance, accessibility and cutting edge user interface implementation. Ability to make balanced, informed implementation decisions that pragmatically meet those needs.
Have a working knowledge of UI design principles and are able to apply style guides to new interface use cases. Work in collaboration with UI designers on website interface and interactivity.
Understanding of how web applications work, perform and scale. Have superb troubleshooting and problem analysis skills.
Ability to solve problems at their root, stepping back to understand the broader context.
Ability to develop pragmatic solutions. Build flexible/scalable systems without over-engineering and choose simple solutions.

Basic Qualifications
BS or BA Degree
Minimum of 3 years programming experience in HTML, JavaScript, CSS Experience with enterprise class web content management systems (e.g. Adobe CQ, Interwoven Teamsite) Experience with scripting languages (e.g. PHP, Ruby) is a plus Experience working with front-end frameworks and libraries (e.g. jQuery, BootStrap) Experience integrating front-end code into content management systems Experience working in a team environment with frequent customer contact Experience building dynamic, innovative website features and functionality Experience translating design mockups and prototypes into working applications Experience working in an agile environment, specifically Scrum Excellent team member with solid verbal and written communication skills Ability to work in a fast paced and agile development environment

Preferred Qualifications
Degree preferably in computer science or a similar technical discipline Experience with Unix/Linux Experienced in Object Oriented Javascript Experience with Adobe SiteCatalyst Experience with performance based front-end development techniques
