Responsible for leading information Services/Clinical Applications in best practice coding, standards implementation, Web site and Web application development, in concert with Cerner Millennium applications/database. This position requires an expert knowledge of browser application development, database development, and the ability to create server-side controls. Works with key stakeholders, end users, and team members to identify and resolve issues throughout system development lifecycle. Position provides ongoing production support of clinical web and SQL application systems as needed. Responsible for taking a senior role on tasks and mentoring other clinical systems analysts as appropriate. May direct the work of other staff members.
Required Education/Experience:
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related field, OR equivalent combination of training and experience that demonstrates technical competence
- Minimum of five (5) years experience working with website or database development
- Experience with developing Web applications in Javascript or database applications using SQL
- Proven experience utilizing project management tools and methodologies, and leading committees, projects and activities
- Proven ability to fully use and apply standard principles, theories and concepts related to technical discipline
