In search for....... Instructional Designer


JOB DESCRIPTION:

Client is looking for Instructional Designer who will be responsible for content development and creating the deliverables used to enable the Field. You will create high quality enablement deliverables for internal Field employees, Company partners and Company customers. Worldwide Field Enablement materials could include asynchronous materials such as eLearning modules, videos, podcasts, apps, participant guides and synchronous training materials such as instructor guides, exercises, quizzes, and relevant collateral. You will responsible for supporting SMEs with light technical issues such as Companys software downloads installation, and use.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Attend meetings, gather specifications, and ask questions to understand and apply all requirements for deliverables.
  • Work with the Content Development Manager and SMEs from various levels within the organization to develop learning objectives, content, and agreement to timelines with maximum efficiency and professionalism.
  • Develop learning objects that are published to an LMS.
  • Design and develop training materials using blended, adult learning principles/ methodologies, and established team standards, templates, and best practices.
  • Manage and maintain materials as needed or requested.
  • Ability to provide personal and effective support or troubleshooting to subject matter experts regarding video software installation or recording as needed
  • Ability to have the patience necessary to attend to details when asked to QA your own work, and the work of others on the team.
  • Writes effective copy, instructional text, narration scripts and video scripts using a conversational and engaging tone.
  • Understands related fieldsusability and experience design, information design, communications and new technologies.


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 7+ years of experience in an instructional design or content development role.
  • Experience translating marketing and technical language into easy to understand text and graphics.
  • Experience with re-building existing content into smaller reusable modules/objects.
  • Strong experience in video editing. (Premiere Pro, Presenter Video, ScreenFlow)
  • Excellent writing and editing skills (in English) for the purpose of knowledge transfer and skill development, including skills in explaining technical topics or concepts to novices and collaborating with subject matter experts and managers.
  • Excellent project/time management skills to drive self and others to on-time completion.
  • Experience developing test questions that map to the learning objectives defined for the course.
  • Experience with rapid development of eLearning, performance support aids, online tutorials and/or other training materials, including gaming modules, and product simulations.
  • Experience representing concepts and narratives graphically on a screen. Charts, diagrams, Info graphics, etc
  • Experience of write a script based on existing materials for a specific topic (whitepapers, recorded presentations, PowerPoints, etc.) and work with a SME to fine-tune the script.
  • Expertise developing in HTML-XML, Adobe tools (Premiere, Captivate, Presenter, Video Creator) and/or other relevant or competitive software.
  • Experience with Adobe creative tools for graphics manipulation and creation.
  • Experience programming in SCORM.
