About the Opportunity:
The primary responsibility of theData AccountAnalyst is to consult with pharmacies on areas where they could increase revenue potential by analyzing reports which identify billing issues. The Account Analyst must be able to independently research and resolve claim payment errors, and effectively communicate these findings to pharmacy owners, wholesalers, and insurance companies.
Essential Job Functions:
Prepare and review a variety of monthly reports to determine billing mistakes.
Answer phones and provide support desk assistance for pricing services and claims support.
Develop relationships with customers, and offer counseling on how to resolve billing mistakes.
Analyze data and research how to resolve billing issues.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 1 year experience in pharmacy operations.
High School Diploma or GED required.
Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
Ability to effectively present information one-on-one and in small groups.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Also able to compute rate ratio and percentage.
Ability to organize and prioritize a variety of tasks and projects.
Ability to work quickly and accurately within strict time frames.
Ability to preserve confidentiality of information.
Knowledge of brand and generic drugs by name.
Knowledge of industry terms and processes.
Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook required.
Must have strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Must have strong interpersonal skills and commitment to providing excellent customer service.
Must be able to pass a drug test.
1 year of experience in office environment preferred.
Knowledge of pharmacy dispense systems a plus.
