Serve as a storage team member to help manage and maintain the Storage Area Network (SAN) and Network Attached Storage (NAS) in a 24x7 enterprise that includes around-the-clock emergency and critical care. Engage in all aspects of operating a mission critical, always-on storage infrastructure to support internal and customer-facing services for Hospital and Research business operations. Install local storage systems and troubleshoot errors related to data storage, perform scheduled activities and capacity planning for local data storage, monitor storage arrays and SAN switches, and provide documented, repeatable procedures related to various maintenance activities. Perform storage engineering tasks to include reviewing requirements for storage requests based on storage configuration. Generate and analyze storage capacity, configuration, performance and availability metrics. Work under minimal supervision on projects and interact with other IS Engineering peers.

Requirements:

Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or a related field, OR equivalent technical training and work experience that demonstrates technical competency

Minimum of three (3) to five (5) years related work experience-

Minimum of three (3) years experience with storage technologies

Required Credentials:

Certification with, or demonstrable expertise in Cisco, EMC and Hitachi Data Systems storage technologies, including Enterprise-class storage arrays

Preferred:

Experience with Storage Area Networking operational practices and technologies, with experience in SAN switch infrastructure, fabric architecture and underlying concepts, including protocols: SCSI, iSCSI, Fibre Channel, FCIP, NFS, CIFS

Experience with storage virtualization technologies and concepts

Familiarity with Microsoft Windows server editions, Red Hat Enterprise Linux, VMware ESX, and IBM AIX

Experience with Hitachi Data Systems Storage Navagator and Performance Manager-

Experience with Cisco Fabric Manager

Experience with backup technologies, including IBM Tivoli Storage Manager, EMC Networker and Exagrid

Experience with online data migration and storage concepts and practices

Experience with disaster recovery, replication and data copying local and remote

Able to provide valuable analysis of storage performance and capacity data

Experience with command line allocating storage

Experience with HNAS or NetApp type device File Servers

The Radar Repairer is a vital member of the Army National Guard communications maintenance team. As such, you will develop a working knowledge of how to operate military radar equipment and how to install, maintain, and repair it. Duties include troubleshooting and testing radar systems using electronic and electrical test equipment; understanding air traffic control, missile tracking, air defense, and other radar systems, as well as the ability to repair them; installing receivers, transmitters, and other components; and preparing and maintaining equipment logs.
