Manager of Business Continuity

Summary of Key Responsibilities:
- Actively owns and manages Coinstar, Inc.s business continuity program
- Develops, implements, and maintains staffing models, resource plans and budgets to ensure that there are sufficient resources to maintain, operate, monitor and review the BCMS
- Performs annual company-wide Business Impact Analyses (BIA)
- Coordinates with other members of the Information Security and Risk teams to perform integrated risk assessments
- Creates and maintains business continuity strategies which enable Coinstar, Inc. to recover its critical activities within pre-defined recovery time objectives
- Ensures that there is a viable recovery plan and business recovery team in place for each of the critical business processes throughout Coinstar, Inc.
- Monitors business recovery plan development and tracks deliverables from each business recovery team
- Publishes and distributes essential program deliverables to the appropriate team leaders, backups, and other key staff
- Ensures business recovery plans are updated through a formal annual review process or whenever significant business changes take place
- Leads periodic and comprehensive assessments to ascertain program effectiveness
- Develops and provides recovery plan training to ensure continued awareness
- Schedules, attends, coordinates and conducts planned business continuity tests
- Works with Internal Audit to ensure that effectiveness and efficacy of the BCMS are formally evaluated at planned intervals
- Develops and provides BCMS measures of effectiveness and delivers these reports to management
- Establishes and maintains Coinstars Emergency Operations Center
- Works with the Incident Management Team and Network Operations Center personnel to ensure that problems are escalated to disaster event status when appropriate and to allow key personnel to initiate recovery procedures when appropriate

Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelors degree required
- Minimum 10 years of business continuity management implementation and maintenance experience required
- 5+ years people management experience preferred
- Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP) designation preferred
- Deep knowledge of BS 25999 and ISO 22301
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills including the ability to assimilate information from a variety of sources, analyze and recommend courses of action.
- Project management, financial acumen and proven record of tracking and measuring the effectiveness of a Business Continuity program.
- Ability to influence across organizational boundaries and build strong partnerships
- Demonstrated ability to lead people and develop/coach a team
- Strong client focus and relationship management skills

Sr. Accountant

Summary
This position is a key member of the Financial Reporting team. This person will work closely with accounting operations, the external auditors, legal and other departments during the quarterly reporting process, will own the SEC filings tie out as well as be responsible for various other internal/external reporting responsibilities. The position will report to the Director, Financial Reporting.
Responsibilities
As a Sr. Accountant in the Financial Reporting and Policies team, you will play a key role in the areas of external reporting and earnings release support, recurring internal management reporting, accounting research and other projects on an as needed basis. Specific responsibilities will include: (1) Preparation of multiple earnings release and 10-Q or 10-K reports and schedules, drafting of footnotes as needed, assistance with our XBRL tagging, and review of SEC filing documents and/or earnings release documents for accuracy; (2) Preparation of multiple internally /externally requested reports on a recurring and as needed basis, such as census filings; and (3) Various accounting projects at the direction of the team’s Director, which could include accounting research, facilitation of 401(K) and/or Health and Welfare audits and assistance with the proxy review and tie out, among others.    RequirementsRequirements
Proven project management skills; exceptional written and oral communication skills; a strong bias for action and a work ethic based upon a strong desire to exceed high expectations.
4 year degree in accounting, with CPA preferred.
3+ years of related experience, preferably with two or more years of public accounting experience and/or previous external reporting experience at a medium to large public company.
Good experience working with PeopleSoft general ledger and Hyperion Essbase. Working knowledge of SEC reporting requirements and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.

This position is responsible for integrating results from external automated systems into an in-house controlled vocabulary. This requires designing and developing tools to manage long running workflows, working with cloud-based services, and integrating data into an existing system.

Account Executive

Job Title:                Account Executive – Outside Sales Location:    NationwidePosition Type:    Permanent – Full timeReports to:    Regional Sales Director

The Account Executive will be responsible for selling the complete Carousel product line and services in an assigned territory while attaining and exceeding sales and account objectives.  The AE will be expected to contribute input to help Carousel develop tactical and strategic product and marketing directions. Responsibilities:
  • Effectively penetrates all accounts within assigned territory, including competitive installations that are within designated markets. Manages an effective call back program to maintain existing accounts.
  • Independently calls on customers and penetrates accounts.
  • Demonstrates excellent product, company, and price list knowledge.
  • Demonstrates excellent understanding of the position, discovery, and commitment questions that turn product features and company services into solution benefits for prospects and customers.
  • Excellent questioning and presentation skills, effective at all levels of target customer organization.
  • Works with service management and sales management to negotiate contract terms. Provides marketing with information on market climate, prospects, and competition.
  • Works without supervision in qualifying new leads and developing effective strategies for accounts.
  • Excellent sales call planning skills as it pertains to on site sales visits.  Visits to customer sites are planned in an effective manner, brings in correct resources to support on site visits at appropriate phases of the buyers decision cycle.  Superior project management skills.
  • Develops effective rapport with coaches, influencers, and decision makers within customer base. 
  • Works effectively with other Sales partners depending upon the nature and scope of the sale, especially across territories on major account deals.
 
 RequirementsRequired Knowledge and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. 
  • Three to five years of relevant B2B selling experience in the Technology industry. 
  • Proven success at sales quota performance. 
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, positive attitude, professional appearance, understanding of sales process, industry knowledge, well organized, dependable, and excellent listening skills.
